Maddie moved to DC for college from her hometown of Lexington, Kentucky where hospitality runs deep. While studying public policy at American University, she picked up a hosting gig for extra cash and hasn't left the restaurant industry since! She's carried various positions within the restaurant including a serving position at The Salt Line, before moving on to a fine-dining steakhouse where she dove into wine world. After gaining additional experience, Maddie returned to The Salt Line as a manager and is thrilled to get back to a chef-driven concept where local ingredients and sustainably sourced seafood are king. You can find her at the bar indulging in what inspires her most: a glass of champagne and a spirited debate, usually about which oysters are the most delicious that day.
